I had the great displeasure of going on “The Bible Says What?” Podcast to not discuss my Documentary, which was what I thought the point of me going on the show was, but to be attacked by an Atheist for being a Christian for an hour. Unfortunately for the host he didn’t know what he got himself into. He was left speechless at times and clearly flustered. He talked over me constantly and had the intellectual capacity/maturity of a prepubescent 12 year old.
I was given no prepared questions. Until 20 min prior to our convo, I didn’t realize it was an Atheist Podcast where he brings on Christians to try to make them and their God look foolish/evil with several prepared verses that he has on his screen to reference.
This was my first public debate that I didn’t sign up for (again I thought this was an interview about my film) and by the Grace of God I think I handled this “Gotcha” interview well. Though, to my shame I did curse at one point after this man continuously belittled and degraded the late Charlie Kirk and in reference to his murder said “That guys a Dumb*ss” in which I responded in kind “He was Brilliant, you’re a Dumb*ss” Though the language was inappropriate, the sentiment is true. This man was/is a classless idiot. He was intellectually dishonest, didn’t intend to have a honest conversation, and just sought to attack Christ, Christians and of course me.
He of course believes he’s more moral than Christians and the “Evil God” of the Bible, yet can’t even simply not speak ill of the dead, a basic tenet of common decency. Let alone a man who was in his 30’s and slaughtered for the whole world to see.
